Introduction
Criminal Lawyers Hamilton has established a reputation as a relentless community advocate. A native of Hamilton, Criminal Lawyers Hamilton has always had a sense of pride for its community.
Soon after founding Criminal Lawyers Hamilton Criminal Defense Attorneys, we started a scholarship program as a way to give back to the community. The goal of the program is to assist eligible applicants in furthering their education goals.
Who Can Apply
The Criminal Lawyers Hamilton Scholarship is open to law students of any college or university. To be eligible for the 2017 awards, students must show current or future enrollment in a degree program at the time of application. All applicants must reside in US or Canada. The scholarship can be used for tuition, housing, school supplies or student transportation costs.
How To Apply
1. When applying for the Criminal Lawyers Hamilton Scholarship, submit your name, email, enrolled school, estimated graduation date, explanation of academic and professional pursuits, activities and community involvement, employment history, essay and honor pledge, stating the work being submitted is your own and accurate in an email to LawSchoolsScholarships@gmail.com.
2. Write a 1,000 or so word essay. The topic of the essay is distracted driving. The CDC tells us that every day in the North America, more than 11 people are killed and more than 1,353 people are injured in motor vehicle accidents involving a distracted driver. A stunning 31% of U.S. drivers, ages 18-64, admitted to surveyors that they had read or sent text or email messages while driving within the past 30 days. Well-intended distracted driving awareness programs do not appear to have made even a dent in the problem. What can we do and what should we do to try save more lives?y.
Deadlines
Students must submit entries by July 15th to be considered for the award given in August 2017
Award Amount
$3000 (3X$1000) will be awarded August 2017.
Selection Process and Notification
The Criminal Lawyers Hamilton Scholarship Committee will review each application and notify the winning student of their award by telephone and email.
